My Travel Series is inspired by the places that have shaped me, stirred my curiosity, and invited me to slow down and look closely. Every journey—whether across an ocean or just down a new street—offers moments that stay with me: the quality of the light, the rhythm of a landscape, the colors and textures of daily life. These paintings are my way of honoring those moments and bringing them forward into my studio practice.
Each piece is created using a layered mixed media approach, combining acrylic paint with hand-painted collage papers. I build the surface slowly—adding texture, pulling it back, glazing, and stitching fragments together—so the artwork feels as alive and dimensional as the experience that inspired it. No two pieces are ever the same. Every mark, color, and collage layer is unique to that single artwork.
