Graceful goldfinches and dogwood blossoms bring forth the feeling of gratitude for the rebirth of all that spring has to offer. This work began as a larger work of art that was divided into squares. I used intuitive line, color, and marks. My theme became the color yellow and was inspired by the first colors of spring. I worked from my photographs and excursions around the area of my home.
