Original Acrylic Mixed Media Painting Yellow Forsythia "Anticipation"

$300.00
Forsythia are the first of the yellow flowers to burst forth on the hills in NY. I know that the much anticipated season is here and that there will be more flowers to follow. This is #62 of my 100 works of art. This work began as a larger work of art that was divided into squares. I used intuitive line, color, and marks. My theme became the color yellow and was inspired by the first colors of spring. I worked from my photographs and excursions around the area of my home. These particular pansies sat on my front steps all spring and made me smile on my arrival home each day.

10” x 10” mixed media work in acrylic and hand painted collage on paper mounted to cradled board.

The work comes varnished for UV protection. The sides are painted, mounted in a floating black frame, and ready to hang. The artwork can also be hung as a series of 3 or more to create a visual impact in your home. Check out additional works from my Yellow Series.
