This Lenten Rose was inspired by the flowers in my Mothers’ garden. We had a beautiful walk on spring morning and these yellow-green flowers grew right next to their purple counterparts. The downward facing flowers are quite hardy in NY and my mother creates the most beautiful spring bouquets.
10” x 10” mixed media work in acrylic and hand painted collage on paper mounted to cradled board.
The work comes varnished for UV protection. The sides are painted, mounted in a floating black frame, and ready to hang. The artwork can also be hung as a series of 3 or more to create a visual impact in your home. Check out additional works from my Yellow Series.
