I’m drawn to the mix of movement and calm that ponds offer—the glide of water birds, the flash of fish beneath the surface, and the layered reflections that shift with light and weather. Each artwork captures a moment from these environments, highlighting both the wildlife and the subtle patterns created where water, plants, and animals meet.
Each piece is created using acrylic paint combined with hand-painted collage papers. I work in layers to develop texture and depth, using both opaque and transparent elements to echo the feeling of looking into water while also seeing what rests above it.
