My Green Abstract Series is built around movement, light, and the layered structure found in natural spaces. These paintings focus on shape, rhythm, and direction rather than specific subjects. I’m drawn to the way greens and blues blend into one another, creating a sense of calm, openness, and quiet energy—much like the feeling of being surrounded by fields, forests, or water.
Each artwork is created with acrylic paint and layered mark making. I use sweeping brushstrokes, textured areas, and repeating lines to build depth and guide the eye through the composition. The darker linear forms act as anchors within the softer washes of color, creating balance between clarity and fluidity. This approach allows each piece to feel both structured and intuitive at the same time.
